AEGIS is an ISO-9001 registered company. We are an innovative and successful provider of high quality
power supply products. Our dedication is to our customers' requirements and
satisfaction. Success comes with quality management that is an equal partner in every aspect of our sales,
product development, product production, and support activities. To
that end, our Quality System and Quality Data
have been established to continue to improve our product and process
quality system.
Methodologies for this concept are continuous improvement and
prevention through self examination and internal audits. We strive to
understand our processes, their key attributes and to prevent deviations and variations
that impact quality. We design, manage and measure for improvement in
Quality.
Our production staff is trained to the standards of the IPC ANSI/J-STD-001
(Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic
Assemblies) and to the
IPC-A-610 (Acceptability of Workmanship to Electronic Assemblies).
Employees inspect their own work using an inspection microscope as does the
Quality Inspector at intervals according to the build router.
Continuous in house training is also performed by the Support Manager and
the Quality Manager who both maintain Instructor Certifications.
The AEGIS support staff are
highly trained personnel who test every manufactured product to the AEGIS Product Acceptance Test
Procedure. Testing in most cases is performed automatically using
our Computer Controlled Automated Test Station (AutoTester) for consistency, accuracy,
and timely test control conditions.
Instrumentation and test equipment
used for product testing are calibrated and traced to the
Bureau of National Standards.
